Spring
I found blossoms on one of the mountain laurels just now.
Mountain laurels are a south Texas bush and the blossoms smell just like Grape Nehi. They are an intoxicating sign that spring is here.

Grape Nehi!! I haven't heard that one in forever. I actually asked someone, this year, to please validate the existence of Nehi. I remember the song, from my pre-kindergarten days. "When you take a sip of Nehi... your knees can play with Nehi!" (or something involving knees.)
So listen, I should have snapped a photo of what the weather was doing here today - dark, gray, rainy and a chill that goes right to your bones.
Happy Spring indeed! Sniff one of those Grape Nehi buds for me, Cynthia.
